Kensington Ballet School

Siân has danced since the age of 3 and completed all RAD ballet grades up to Advanced 2.

As a child, Siân performed in multiple professional shows. When Siân left college, she performed in ‘Cinderella’ at the Theatre Royal, Winchester as a back up dancer.

She then decided when she was 21, to train at the Royal Academy of Dance to study Ballet Education and become a ballet teacher. She trained at the RAD for three years learning the RAD syllabus from the incredible tutors who choreographed the syllabus.
The Ballet Education degree also provided Siân with extensive training in child development, dance science, classroom management skills, and so much more.

Everyday, throughout her 3 years at the RAD, Siân received a high standard of ballet training from RAD examiners, ex professional ballet dancers and choreographers.

Siân received Firsts in all of her teaching exams and graduated from the RAD in 2021 with a BA in Ballet Education and a distinction in the RAD Licentiate programme.

Sian joined Kensington Ballet School in 2020 and has absolutely loved working here. She has fallen in love with the school and all the lovely students!
